They are close to their goal of raising $6000, they just need another couple hundred people. A lot of other people from dA have already supported this drive and it is always great to see the community come together to support a worthy cause like this. You can make a difference and help them reach their goal, if you haven't yet please do'.

I'm all about saving animals, but things like this seem kinda stupid. This Fund will donate up to $6000 dollars if people sign up at snowleopard.org...how about this Kearsley Fund just donate the $6000, why do they need people to sign up? And I mean I'm sure they will donate $2 for every subscriber but why can't they just donate all $6000?
because when people sign up it generates more interest in the cause. instead of the fund just giving the $6000 without anyone really knowing anything about it, they get people to subscribe so that they could possibly get more donations for the fund in the future.
use your head.
yes it generates more interest, but its still a silly way to save the snow leopards. if this fund really cares about the conservation of snow leopards then they would just donate the money whether or not 3000 people sign up.
